The USDA-approved, food-grade Sanilux conveyor handles a wide variety of materials. The system is fully enclosed with a dry cleaning function and an optional washdown feature— Clean-In-Place (CIP) —for a more advanced washdown process.
A Sanilux® conveyor of the USDA series consists of four main components:
The disc and chain assembly moves throughout the entire conveyor and its tension is maintained by a unique system, the automatic tensioner. These food grade conveyors can have one or more product inlets and outlets and several auxiliary equipment can be fitted to them: Sweeping station
The mandatory wet wash feature, a necessity in food applications, eliminates microorganisms and organic matter by circulating acid, caustic solution, and finally a liquid, disinfectant solution, through all internal conveyor components. USDA Sanilux series tubular chain conveyors are manufactured in Montreal, Canada, at our manufacturing facility.
